Perseverance, patience and pudding
As part of our Thrive curriculum, today we attempted to make apple crumble! The children learnt to use a potato peeler safely and how to cut an apple using a bridge to keep their fingers safe. It was funny to watch the children have a go and it was clear that their grown-ups at home do everything for them! A fantastic opportunity to start developing their life skills. By the end of the session the children were really proud that they had made their very own apple crumble. It was even more special as the apples had been picked by one of our children in year one from their garden.
Well done Parrots, I hope they tasted delicious.
